Clean Cold Power

It’s rare to get a brief that makes you genuinely feel like your work could change the world. So thanks, Clean Cold Power.

Their liquid nitrogen engine could one day be used in lots of different ways. But they’re first aiming to replace the transport refrigeration units on trucks and delivery vans – which traditionally use combine-harvester-quality red diesel.

My challenge was to develop a tone of voice for the new brand that could balance the detailed technical scientific thinking behind the product with its mind-boggling potential for environmental sustainability.

The final approach mixed the kind of terminology the technical audience wanted to see for reassurance, with an informal tone one wouldn’t usually expect in this field. The result was an easy-to-read site (for the technically-minded), that also conveyed the excitement and far-reaching uses of the technology.
